Danica is 1 years old today! She is spitting image of Berber. She loves running in the team, but we take things very carefull. Here a pic I took of her on her birthday.

October 2008
Danica is now 11 months old. She has been introduced to the team and does very well. She runs in wheel next to Aspen. And history recalls. Like Sterre made Ezrah work 8 years ago, it is now young Danica who makes Aspen work ... poor Aspen, it was not easy for her to work on her own, but now she has a buddy! Ofcourse Danica is still a baby, so we take thing VERY slow ... she also does very on Royal Canin and therefor we swopped the whole team. Sterre has not been running well the last two years and does much, much better, so I guess Sterre might have had a food problem too ....

Danica is 9 months old. We have some problems with food, but things go much better now. Unfortunately she also had an infection on one of the molares, but that goes much better now too. She becomes quite a young lady!

Being almost 8 months Danica is rather recalcitrant at the moment ..... still a darling ofcourse. Patricia and Baruff are her biggest friends!

At the age of almost 6 months time for a photo shoot. Danica is a darling and growing. She still goes to work with me and she loves it.

After being at home for 2 weeks, the dogs are all used to eachother. Chanouk was not very happy first, but Chanouk never likes puppies. But now they are all playing and having fun. But Baruff is Danica´s big friend. I have been taken her to work in the mornings and when we get home, she jumps in front of his kennel for him to come out. And Baruff is just like Berber, he lets her pull his eyes out, tear his coat of, pulls his ears and tail ......
It is SO much fun to have a puppy in the house. We should have done that much sooner.

March 2008

I took Danica on a photo shoot and here are the results. Click on the photo for a larger view.

We have picked up Danica at Villaborg. Saying goodbye was not easy for Wouter and Margareta and when you see pics like this, you wonder how on earth you even dare to do such a thing . ... :(. It felt like breaking their hearts.

But they know where she lives and it will not be the last time they will see her.
She is a lovely pup, sleeps all night, goes and sit in front of the door when she needs to do something.
She loves playing. Today she went training with us. For her it was standing at the stake-out to see what we were going to do and while I was gone, Will took her for a walk and she loved it.

Danica had her shots yesterday and is also microchipped. She is in good health and shape. So are her brothers. One brother goes to his new family this weekend, two others next week.

Update January 2008
Margareta sent some new pics today. Danica played in the snow today. It was snowing and the temperature was around 0 degrees Celsius and the snow stuck in her coat like iceballs. Margareta tells that she is a lovely girl, but very independent. She won´t come when she feels there is no need ..... boy, it sounds more promising by the day!

White Girl has a name! Her full name is Polarullens Danica Oriana Liv
Polarullens is the kennelname, Danica is after Danica Patrick, a female IRL drive, Oriana Danica is a name from Ezrah's pedigree and Liv means life in Swedish. Liv is also from Lindus and Varya, the parents.

We will call her DANICA!

Thanks to Margareta for all the lovely pics she is sending. We will pick Danica up when we are in Sweden in March. In the meantime, Danica is having a great time with her 4 brothers, discovering the snow and sleds. She is quite a lady, who knows what she wants and is not scared of anything. That sounds promising!
